Journey Healers

Hello, and thank you for stopping by my website!  I am so excited to share my purpose with you!  It's been a long and exciting journey so far and I know it's only going to get better!

Although there are a lifetime of events that I could share with you, the real story actually started in 2005, when I watching a t.v show called Starting Over.  It inspired me to look into my life and change all of the 'negative energy' that I was holding onto (and believe me there was a lot!)  I was amazed at the difference that changing my thoughts and healing myself and letting go of the past helped me to move forward in my life.

In the back of my mind at the time, I was also thinking of writing a book.  I kept getting compliments on my writings online, and being told that I should compile them in a book, however, I had a lot of hesitation with 'exposing myself' to the world.  I was able to get past these blocks and fears, and soon went on to publish my first book, Woman To Woman The Journey To Me in 2008.

This really jump started the direction I would then take in my life.  After I brought out Woman To Woman, I was fired up to really start helping people.  I enrolled in a life coaching class at Conestoga College, but by the completion, it wasn't what I had hoped to get.  By a list of synchronicities, I was able to receive my Certified Coaching Certificate from the Certified Coaches Federation in January 2009 and it was then that Journey Healers was started.

At first, Journey Healers was simply a coaching practice.  I just wanted to help people, but as I gained credibility, I started to realize that coaching was done in a similar fashion (yet different) as hypnosis.  I then became certified as a Hypnosis Consultant.  With this new certificate, I was able to start using hypnosis, and life coaching.  Many started asking about past life regressions, and I stepped into this new territory.  Again, like the hypnosis, and life coaching, it brought people to a new enlightened way of being.

For over a year, I was quite happy, simply doing life coaching and hypnosis.  I started working on my second book, Power Surge, and published it in September 2010.  It was around this time that I started wanting something more, and so I started to think of my options.  Despite my hesitations, I kept thinking about Reiki, and knew that somehow it would start to bring everything full circle.  I became certified in Reiki Level 1, and then certified in Reiki Level 2 in 2010. 

This brought a whole new perspective to Journey Healers, and what I wanted Journey Healers to be.  From the beginning, my main focus was to get people living a more balanced, positive and fear-free life, however, I was starting to see that people needed more than that.  By receiving these first two levels of Reiki, I realized that there are three parts that make up the whole of a person~~Body, Mind and Spirit.

When the Body, Mind, or Spirit (or a combination of these) is not living up to it's potential, it has a ripple effect on the overall satisfaction of all three.  It became clear to me at this point that I should be focusing on all three, to give those who came to me, a full spectrum of their whole being.

In 2010, I became certified as a Hot Stone Massage Practitioner through the Stone Massage Company. 

 I am currently learning how to read the Tarot cards to bring spiritual guidance to my clients as well as working on an Associates Degree from the College of Metaphysical Studies.

It is my goal through Journey Healers to bring wholeness back to humanity; to enlighten, and lift the spirits of all of those who I come into contact with.  Eventually, I would like to open a Spiritual Wellness Center, where you clients are offered holistic health services, workshops, classes, nature and whole foods; a center where they can re-discover the beauty that they hold inside, and their life purpose; a place where they become One with the Universe.

For now, I work from my home office, where I reside with my husband and my five children.

Just like you, I was stuck in a place of darkness, but I seen a light at the end of the tunnel.  I realized that there was more to life than money and things.  I realized that I am here for a reason, and I want to share it with you.  Most importantly, I realized that every person holds the potential to make a difference in this world~~ and that means you!
